Welcome Ministry

The Welcome Ministry was created to assist first time visitors of the Cathedral of the King.  Being the first point of contact of first time visitors, the Ministry intends to be a friend, a brother or sister to them, giving them a warm welcome and a sense of belongingness in the Cathedral of the King.

During Sundays, workers meet the visitors at the door of the Church and are ushered in the Sanctuary.  After the Mass, they are invited for a short orientation about what the Mass and given some refreshments in the Ministry's appreciation for the visitor's giving of their special time and interest to attend the Cathedral's Mass. The Ministry would want the visitors to have the feeling of a family receiving them with gladness  at their home.

Brochures about the Church are given so that they can have a better understanding about the Cathedral and her faith. The Ministry then coordinates with the Communities of the Church so that the visitors can be followed-up and eventually integrated to the community where they reside.
