Ruth’s Vineyard

The Book of Ruth in the Bible speaks of CARE.  Care for the poor is not limited to those in need but the care for the widows and the orphans as exemplified in the life of Naomi and Ruth.

Ruth’s Vineyard is a channel of love to the needy, the sick, the widows and the orphans among the community members of the Cathedral and even outside the Church.   It is involved assisting the members in areas of hospitalization, death in the family or helping the elderly during the Services in the Church.

Outside of the Church, the Ministry reaches out through regular visitation to those who are spiritually and emotionally hungry for direction in their lives like those who are in the prison – the Correctional Institute for Women.

The Ministry organizes activities like the administration of the Flu Vaccine, blood-letting, medical mission amongst others, seeing the vision to demonstrate care and concern for the needs of the Church members and preparing for any need that may arise.
